Cycling Tour Utilizing E-BIKE in Heda

The Izu Peninsula Geopark and Tourism Bureau (Chairperson: Takeshi Toyooka) will hold a monitor tour on August 1 ahead of the actual sales of a cycling tour program featuring ocean views and scenic spots by HIS Co., Ltd.

■Tour points
Heda in Numazu City, which is the main stage of this tour, faces Suruga Bay, and has many photogenic spots, including Mt. Fuji and Morokuchi Shrine seen over the sea.
The Heda area is said to be a wonderful cycling spot but has not been known widely partially due to limited access (by car or by bus).
However, if you try to reach there by bicycle, you have to cross a harsh road. Therefore, we have planned a tour with shuttle service to and from Mishima Station so that you can enjoy cycling in Heda easily.
For lunch, you can enjoy the specialty of Suruga Bay, "Japanese Spider Crab", and as a reward after cycling, you can enjoy tea time at "Heda Spa Isaba", an inn with a superb view.
