Workshop on Marine Plastics to be Held at Georia on Sunday, December 25

The Izu Peninsula Geopark and Tourism Bureau will hold a workshop aimed at educating people about the ocean around Izu Peninsula Geopark and raising awareness of marine plastics and other environmental issues.

A geoguide who has been conducting beach cleanup activities in the southern Izu Peninsula for many years will talk about the marine environment of the Izu Peninsula and the SDGs, and participants will make original magnets with resin handcrafts made from marine plastics.
