Saganogawa River Trail

  • Lava flow and columnar joints of Hachinoyama Volcano

A part of the lava from the Hachinoyama Volcano flowed along the present Saganogawa River.

There is a hiking trail that starts from the intersection of the Saganogawa River and Route No. 135.

Walking along this track, visitors can enjoy the river flowing over the lava that came down from Hachinoyama Volcano, and the columnar joints that formed when the lava cooled and solidified.
