On the afternoon of Saturday, April 16, the Izu Peninsula Geopark and Tourism Bureau, General Inc. Assoc., with the cooperation of Windy Network Inc., opened the Geo Cafe "Nami-no-Shita no Geo" at the company's Marine Research Institute (Aoichi 896-1, Minamiizu-cho). The company's executive together with dive instructors in the region will talk about the underwater world that you can't usually see. This is the first time the Geo Cafe has taken up the underwater world.
The Izu Peninsula Geopark includes up to 3 km offshore. They will talk about the charms of the underwater world, such as its topography, ecology, and underwater heritages. You can enjoy inspiring images such as the company's 3D system and underwater drone images taken by Mr. Ohnishi.
The Geo Cafe opens at 1:00 PM on the 5th. Participation fee is 500 yen including a souvenir.
