“The 4th Izu Stone Gallery Exhibition: Izu Stone Culture Supporting Japan from the Izu Peninsula” is a traveling exhibition showing at Izu Peninsula Geopark’s Georia Museum in Shuzenji, Izu from January 19 to March 14. The exhibition is a compilation of research results on Izu stone by the Izu Stone Culture Study Group, and has already shown at places such as Lalaport Numazu and Geoterrace in the Geopark Visitor Center in Ito.
On January 29, during the Georia exhibition, the Izu Peninsula Geopark and Tourism Bureau and the Izu Stone Culture Study Group will co-host an online lecture on the following topic to deepen people’s understanding of the exhibition contents.

The Lost City - The History of the Izu Stone Industry Which Made Edo and a little bit of London, New York and Paris in Japan
